CDA established a sister firm, Capital Clearing Corp. (CCC), which, as a member of all regional stock exchanges, supplemented the trading capabilities of CDA. CCC was prominent in institutional third market trading which helped lead to negotiated commissions on the New York Stock Exchange. Both firms were sold in 1975.
He subsequently founded Seascape Yacht Services, with numerous locations including the Grenadines, the Bahamas, and Key West Florida.
Other activities include the establishment of Hollander and Dobringer, a private investment banking firm with offices in Washington DC, Annapolis MD, and Munich Germany. Areas of focus included selecting private money managers and Commercial Real Estate development projects for high net worth individuals and institutions. Other areas of interest were advising and providing start up funding for small companies, and advising regional brokerage firms.
During this time Mr. Hollander purchased several real estate firms, including National Real Estate of D.C. and Maryland, to supplement the services for their real estate developments, and European real estate investors.
